For those of you who like a...One - Pot - Stop!
You will love this cider. Also makes a really wonderful aroma throughout the house.
I cannot recall where I got this recipe from, or if it is a recipe at all.
What I use:
4 cups water
4 cups apple juice
1 (12 ounce) can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
1 medium apple - peeled, cored and diced
1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
1 medium orange, peeled and sectioned
1 cinnamon stick
How easy it is:
In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours or until cider reaches desired temperature. Discard cinnamon stick. If desired, remove fruit with a slotted spoon before serving.
Happy Holidays,
Selena

Calgary Public Transport
Thrusting lightrail ticket into mechanical jaws seconds tick by. Finally gears engage, ink-stained paper emerges and I make a run for it. I've seen those 'peace officers" checking tickets. Embarrassed trespassers surrounded, rounded up, escorted unsmilingly off the train.
Toes clenched I leap down stairs two at a time, praying my sandals and I are going in the same direction. Eyes fixed firmly on gaping carriage doors my heart sinks as metal meets, and I breathe a wet mist onto the glass.
Index finger drills green target and the driver looks away as the train departs. I utter an obscenity knowing this will cost another ten to fifteen minutes already pushed for time.
Arriving downtown I ponder, “Sunday, do I risk waiting for the bus or walk really fast claw-toed uphill, burdened by excess shoulder baggage. I wait and say a quick prayer. Twenty minutes later inwardly berating myself I breathe a sigh of relief as the bus appears.
Four blocks from my destination, the bus makes a foreign right turn. “What???” “Road’s blocked, Lilac Parade” he says. “Where are you going?” “Not sure.” “Let me off, I Plead!” Three blocks later he sails past and waves.
Clinic phone engaged, sweating and ten minutes late I arrive with apology prepared and a crooked smile pasted on my face. Office manager looks up and says, “Relax, no rush, your client cancelled, couldn’t find a parking place.”

Peachy Keen Smoothy
By: KENDRA (allrecipes.com)
"I invented this recipe when I started running out of smoothie components. I think it tastes like a cross between peaches and cream, and egg nog (there are no eggs in it though). The oats and/or wheat germ can be omitted for a smoother smoothie. If using frozen peaches, omit the ice cubes."
Prep Time:10 Min Ready In:10 Min
Original Recipe Yield 2 smoothies
Ingredients:
1 cup sliced peaches
4 cubes ice (optional)
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon honey
2 teaspoons wheat germ
1 tablespoon rolled oats
1 cup vanilla soy milk
Directions:
Place the peaches, ice, nutmeg, vanilla extract, honey, wheat germ, oats, and soy milk into a blender. Cover, and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses to serve.

Benefits of Massage Therapy
A few good reasons to come into Fruition:
Massage increases blood flow to the muscles, which promotes healing. Everyone loves "massage brain", a welcomed break due to reduced levels of the stress hormone cortisol while boosting the feel-good hormones serotonin and dopamine. These changes slow your heart rate, reduce your blood pressure, and block your nervous system's pain receptors. And of course to catch up with your Therapists.
